New Postgraduate Home and EU students
Welcome to UCB
Welcome to all new Postgraduate Home and EU students who are joining us in September 2018. The information below will help you prepare for enrolment and the start of your course.
If you have been offered a place at UCB, you will be sent an online registration email during the summer. You are asked to register online before your official enrolment date so that all your personal information is accurate and up-to-date before you attend, and that you have had time to read any terms and conditions or policies and privacy statements. This will mean that the actual enrolment day will run smoothly.
When is enrolment held?
Enrolment for new students is during week commencing 10th September. Each course has a specific enrolment day and time.
Enrolment for new students
(Returning students can enrol online via an email from UCB. If you have not received this, then please email: firstname.lastname@example.org)
How will I know when to attend?
We will send you an email and a text message to confirm the date and time of your enrolment, you will also receive a welcome pack in the post which will contain all of your course-specific information.
We have a lot of courses, so we have separate enrolment sessions for each course. We allocate appointment times to try and reduce your waiting time, so please try and stick to your appointment, wherever possible.

Your induction is designed to give you the best possible start to your studies by providing you with essential information about the course you have chosen and UCB support services, should you need support at any time. This is also an ideal opportunity to meet with your lecturers and fellow students.
Your induction will also take place during week commencing 10th September.
(Returning students must also attend induction. Please use the link below to see your course information, if you are not able to attend your induction, please contact your course manager.)
To help you settle in, we offer a one-week orientation programme, where you will learn all about living and studying at university.
The Orientation Programme is especially developed for students who are new to the UK and do not speak English as their first language. You will find information about life at UCB, how you will be expected to work and study, and how assignments and essay work should be presented.
The programme also gives you the chance to meet fellow students and experience the social and cultural life of the UK.
