Welcome Information for Returning College Students

Welcome back to UCB

Welcome back to those of you returning to study your new course at UCB for our September 2018 intake.

The information below will help you prepare for enrolment and the start of your course.

To return to study at UCB, you must now have successfully completed your College Admissions Re-enrolment (CARe) application. If you have not completed this, please call admissions on 0121 604 1040 or email CARe@ucb.ac.uk.

If you have been offered a place at UCB, you will be sent an online registration email during the summer. You are asked to register online before your official enrolment date so that all your personal information is accurate and up-to-date before you attend, and that you have had time to read any terms and conditions or policies and privacy statements.

If you are aged 16 to 18:

You are not required to come in and see admissions or finance to enrol, you need to complete the following two things:

  1. Complete and submit your online registration successfully.
  2. Swipe your UCB ID card through the turnstiles in either Summer Row or Richmond House before attending your induction. (If you have lost your UCB ID card, a replacement can be bought from the finance department, 1st floor of Summer Row).

If you are aged 19 or over:

You are required to come in and see admissions and finance to enrol on Friday 31st August between 9am and 3:30pm. You will also need to complete your online registration successfully before coming in on this date. Admissions will send you an email and text message on Thursday 30th August to remind you of your enrolment.

At induction, you’ll join your group and receive your timetable before teaching starts. As well as getting your course information and timetable.

To find the induction dates, and details please click on the link below. Most inductions will take place during the week commencing 3rd September.
