CRIMINOLOGY IDEAL IF You’re interested in the causes of crime, its impacts on individuals and society, and the criminal justice system. You’re considering a career involved in the criminal justice system or in supporting the victims of crime. WHAT YOU WILL STUDY You will learn about different types of crime and how they are reported on and perceived. You will explore the causes of criminal and deviant behaviour and the work undertaken to prevent crime and deter potential offenders. You will also study the process for trying and punishing offenders. FUTURE Criminal psychologist, community development worker, police officer, social worker.
