Nethan Punj
Business lecturer
Since joining University College Birmingham in 2016, Nethan has been lecturing in enterprise and entrepreneurship as well as founding and developing an in-house consultancy service, the Enterprise Hive, within the University.
To date, he has assisted nearly 50 business start-ups throughout a variety of sectors and developed a network of businesses who are ready to support, including the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Lloyds Banking Group and Google.
This allows Nethan to practise what he preaches by demonstrating successes with past businesses as well as consulting creative and innovative start-ups.
Nethan primarily teaches on subjects which possess a combination of enterprise and marketing functionality with an interest in digital. He also seeks to assist BAME students and graduates into employment or self-employment, as well as having a keen interest in helping women within business.
So what does he feel this course will offer for those looking to break into business?
"Our Business Management course has been designed to prepare you to take on the challenges and opportunities in the world of business," he said.
"The course equips you with the right knowledge as well as the soft and hard skills required for businesses in the 21st century. It has also been endorsed by professional bodies like the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Business Graduate Association (BGA)."
