Profile

I have over 18 years of experience within community, education and charity work. I have worked as a lecturer and community tutor, and worked in a children’s centre for 10 years as a training and employment coordinator and senior outreach worker. I have also been an employability tutor for Health and Social Care and Youth, Community and Families Year 1 and 2 students. 

My most recent role was as a clinical lead and cognitive behaviour therapist, where I delivered one-to-one and group therapy sessions and also supervised other practitioners. I was also a locality manager for a therapy service in Northumberland.

External engagements

Trustee, Anthony Walker Foundation (2007 – present) 

The Anthony Walker Foundation is a registered charity established by Anthony's family after his racially motivated murder in 2005. As a trustee and co-founder, I oversee and govern the organisation, implementation and delivery of workshops and festivals, as well as event managing conferences and galas and supervising staff.
