Profile
I am a registered Operating Department Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in the NHS. I have worked in a number of hospitals within the Midlands and covering all aspects of perioperative care. My main specificities are obstetrics, gynaecology and post-operative recovery. I have maintained my role as an ODP undertaking regular shifts alongside my teaching role.
I have worked in education for 6 years and in this time, I have worked in higher education, further education and apprenticeships. I have also been a mentor and assessor within the NHS and further education, working with undergraduate students and clinical apprentices.
