Profile
I completed my Masters' degree in Marketing at the University of West London and my teaching qualification (PGCE) at the University of Greenwich. I have a range of marketing experience from retail management to more recent marketing consultancy engaging with a range of micro and SME's within areas such as building and construction and the sports industry.
Teaching
I have over nineteen years of teaching and supervision experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Modules taught include; brand strategy, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, global marketing, principles of marketing and marketing communications. I have acted module leader for a variety of marketing modules and for undergraduate dissertations.
Research interests and scholarly activity
My main area of research is sensory marketing within the retail sector in readiness to start a PhD, linked to key segmentation bases. I have also an interest in curriculum development for example, I have written and developed a services marketing module for a new MA in marketing course which was successfully validated.
External engagements
I am currently the external examiner for the University of Hertfordshire for their partnership in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have also acted as a moderator for Roehampton University.
Other activities
I have previously acted as the representative for the quality and standards committee which involved, amongst other duties, the recruitment of external examiners.
