I started developing a strong level of creativity from a very young age and knew I wanted to be an artist. By taking on A-levels I took subjects such as fine art, photography, textiles and media studies which challenged me and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
I then decided once finishing, I wanted to join University College Birmingham and try a different scale of art, being make-up and hair. I achieved a First Class BA (Hons) and have had my work published in magazines, and I recently won at the Midlands Fashion Awards claiming the Rising Star Make-up Artist 2019.
I am currently working full-time as a graduate teaching assistant at University College Birmingham, hoping to become a teacher in every field of make-up and hair.
As a GTA, I am working across all modules within the Specialist Hair and Media Make-up course.
