I originally completed my BSc (Hons) degree in Health and Social Care at University College Birmingham. I then progressed to an MA in Education and Learning and finally started my PGLTVS qualification to enable me to evolve into a lecturer in higher education. I worked at the University both in my MA placement in 2018 as a mentor and during the academic years 2019-20 as a graduate teaching assistant in Health and Social Care. I became very much immersed into the culture of University College Birmingham and its mission to promote and provide opportunities which meet the diverse needs of students, society and the economy.
Research Interests and Scholarly Activity
My academic and research interests include but are not limited to aspects of teaching, coaching and mentoring adults and mature students.
I enjoy reading as a functioning academic activity as well as for study and leisure. I also enjoy spending my free time with my family.
