Profile

After leaving school I completed a hairdressing apprenticeship. My make-up skills developed when I became part of the Toni&Guy Creative Team in London. This led to working within the fashion industry on live events and magazine makeovers. After giving up my salon, I did freelance work in television for a number of years, most regularly with Sky Sports and Discovery. I have been a lecturer at UCB for 2 1/2 years in the Creative Services SHMM team. I teach on Cultural and Historical Studies, Period Hair and Makeup and Module Lead Historical Perspectives. I am also a mentor for Final Major Project student.
