Profile
After studying Sports Science and Human Biology at Nottingham Trent University I decided that I wanted to learn about sports injuries in more depth so I continued on to do the BSc in Sports Therapy at the University of Huddersfield whilst working as a personal trainer at the John Smith's Stadium. During my sports therapy degree I was fortunate to gain experience working with Huddersfield Giants and in the sports injury clinic on campus. In addition to this I also worked at Coventry City Football club one day a week assisting with their team sports therapist and working with injured first team players.
After graduating with my sports therapy degree, I worked at the Derbyshire Sports Injury Clinic, Derby before relocating to Carlisle in 2010 to begin my sports therapy teaching career at the University of Cumbria. I then relocated back to the Midlands to begin working at University College Birmingham in 2012.
I now work part time for University College Birmingham commuting from Derbyshire, whilst running my own sports injury clinic at the Riverside Fitness Centre, Makeney. I'm also currently studying towards an MSc in Applied Sports Rehabilitation at Teesside University.
