I originally studied Food Production and Food and Wine Service. I qualified and worked for Pride of Britain hotel collection in various front of house roles. I then took a post as Corporate Hospitality Manager for Glenmorangie Whisky Company, where I operated their country house hotel, near Tain, Ross-shire. On moving back to England, I took my first College teaching post and successfully completed my Cert Ed and joined UCB in 2002. In 2012, I completed my MA in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
