Profile
I have worked in various marketing roles including an energy company, retail group, and building materials company. I organise the national promotions and managed the marketing communications for a major building materials company. I have also run the promotional and training campaigns of sales staff in retail and ran the community relations side for an energy company. I joined University College Birmingham in 1997. I specialise in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour and her research interests have been consumer perception of local food and investigating different research methods to investigate consumer behaviour regarding the 'intention-behaviour' gap in food choice. I have been involved with international research projects and consultancy work on the feasibility of a food court development. My research has led to several papers and conference presentations. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
