I studied Hairdressing Level 2 and level 3 with Warwickshire College as an apprentice. Once qualified I went on to work as a stylist within the salon I had trained in and I built a solid client base. Alongside this I gained qualifications in some units of beauty therapy.
After leaving that salon I went to work for Steiner aboard cruise ships for one contract. Upon returning from the cruise ship I successfully re-built my client base and worked in two salons being self-employed.
I gained my PTTLS qualification in January 2014 and completed my assessor’s qualification in early 2015.
I currently assess and train hairdressing apprenticeship students.
I first started assessing hairdressing at University College Birmingham in March 2014. Alongside my job role here I am currently studying towards my DET qualification.
