The UCB Student Charter has been written by staff and students to clearly set out what we expect of each other and which states the responsibilities of all those within the UCB community. It also states the ways in which students can comment on their programme and student life, and contribute to its enhancement. The Student Charter is not a legally binding contract, but provides a commitment to work together in an effective, productive and inclusive partnership.
The Student Charter is reviewed each year. If you would like to make any comments and contribute to its development then please contact the Director of Quality Systems.
The University is a member of the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) scheme, which provides an independent service for the review of student complaints in higher education colleges and universities. Students or ex-students of the University, once they have exhausted the University's complaints or appeals procedures, may refer their complaint to the OIA if they consider it has not been satisfactorily dealt with.
