Travel & Tourism Students Attend Norwegian Cruise Lines Event

BTEC Level 3 Travel & Tourism students were invited to attend a Cruise Event hosted by Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL), where they were tested on their knowledge of NCL as a company as well as cruise destinations and their marketing and selling skills.
The students were also joined by travel agents from a number of different companies. All of the attendees were required to interact with NCL staff to discover more about marketing their products and how to identify the customer’s needs e.g. budget, length of cruise, time of year, type of stateroom etc.
The enthusiasm that the students displayed throughout the day certainly did UCB proud with many winning prizes for their tremendous efforts. Their behaviour was commendable and NCL passed comment on how many of our students had helped to make their event a success.
