Students Celebrate at Hong Kong Graduation

One hundred and thirty three Graduands from Hong Kong, China, Macau and Thailand have been officially rewarded for their achievements at the University College Birmingham International Awards Congregation which took place on Sunday 30 June at the JW Marriott, Pacific Place, Hong Kong.

Watched by family and friends, the Graduands were presented to academics and officials from University College Birmingham who travelled from the UK to attend the event.

The Graduands all studied Degree or Postgraduate qualifications in a range of subjects including tourism, hospitality, marketing, business and culinary arts. They studied at Caritas College in Wanchai or at University College Birmingham in England, UK

The Awards Congregation were officially opened by Nigel Moss, Chancellor,  University College Birmingham and Professor Ray Linforth, Vice-Chancellor & Principal, University College Birmingham. 

The former Principal of Caritas College Mr PC Liu was invited to attend and address the Congregation as Honorary Fellow and guest speaker. 

A special mention goes to the Aston Institute who had sixty students graduating and Dhalia Leng, their Programme Manager and her team was in attendance to join everyone in wishing all the students every success for the future.
