Student entrepreneurs could win £10,000

Are you a student or a recent graduate entrepreneur? Film a 60 second pitch of your business idea and you could win £10,000 to invest in your business. 

The Varsity Pitch Competition is the UK’s premiere pitching competition for student and graduate entrepreneurs. The winners of seven industry heats come together at the Grand Final to compete for a £10,000 cash prize. 

If you want the chance to win £10,000 to invest in your business, NACUE (the National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs) has just launched its annual Varsity Pitch Competition. The competition is open to any current college or university student or graduate of the past five years with a business idea or an existing business. All you need to do to enter is:

  • Film a 60 second video of you pitching your idea
  • Upload this video to YouTube
  • Fill out the application form at www.varsitypitchcompetition.com 

The deadline for submissions is midnight on Saturday 18th October.

If any UCB degree students are interested in making a video, the University is happy to help. Please email a.johnson@ucb.ac.uk with the subject line “Varsity Pitch Competition” no later than Wednesday 15th October. 

Filming will take place on the 16th and 17th October. Footage will be sent to the student for submission to The Varsity Pitch before midnight the following Saturday.
