Profile
I started working at UCB as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in 2009, supporting the teaching team with the delivery and development of teaching materials for first year Hospitality Business Management students. I then worked in UCB's International Team as an International Student Advisor, offering international students advice and guidance as well as conducting recruitment activities in West and East Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. I then worked as an Employer Contracts Officer managing the day-to-day apprenticeship provision and managing UK and EU-funded project contracts.
I currently work as a CASE Lecturer delivering academic skills sessions to both further and higher education students. In addition to this, I work with colleagues from across the University to develop strategies to support student cohorts to improve Office for Students (OfS) success and progression measures, as well as providing additional learning/mentoring with cohorts of students as identified in the OfS Access and Participation Plan.
