See what we offer for yourself

There are so many reasons why you should choose to study at University College Birmingham, but don't just take our word for it.

We are the highest-ranking university in the region, according to the 2024 Whatuni Student Choice Awards, which are based solely on student choice. We are also best in the West Midlands for student support, international and postgraduate.

The accolades speak volumes, but the very best way to see if we are right for you is to come along to an open day. You can explore our campuses and facilities, speak to lecturers about your chosen course and chat with current students, who have the best insight of all.

At our Clearing Open Day, you can also get advice about applying for September 2026. If you already have your qualifications or A-level results, bring them with you and our Admissions team can talk through your options, help you make an application and let you know whether we can make you an offer.

Travelling from outside of Birmingham?

We’ll reimburse your travel costs! As a prospective student, you can claim back the cost of your own public transport travel (bus, coach or train) up to the value of £50. Please note that we are only able to reimburse the student’s travel expenses, not those of accompanying family members or guests.

After the Open Day, we’ll contact you with details on how to submit your claim. Please ensure that you keep your receipts and register your attendance with our staff on the day.

If you plan to drive, we cannot reimburse mileage. However, we do offer free parking on a first-come, first-served basis at our Moss House campus (B3 1QH, entrance via George Street).
