I have loved being a student ambassador for over two years now. This is an incredible role that has taught me a lot and helped me develop myself even more. I have learned how different departments operate as I get to assist them with various activities. Thanks to that, I have been able to meet and get to know a lot of the University staff working in all these departments.

The role has opened a lot of doors for me to gain experience in areas I have never worked in before. I was offered the chance to become an Aimhigher mentor in a local school for a group of pupils, which I absolutely adored. I was also offered the opportunity to become a coach for further education students. But the most enjoyable thing for me has always been navigating prospective students and their families around our campus and providing them with insights about our University, so they can then make a very well-informed decision about their future.
