Financial support and advice for students can be given in a number of different ways:
Further Education

The Learner Support Fund may be able to assist home students financially with the additional costs of studying such as equipment, childcare and travel. Please contact a Budget Counsellor for eligibility criteria and an application form on 0121 604 1000 ext. 2605.

Staff can give advice on applying for welfare benefits.

Students under 19 may be entitled to financial support from the 16-19 Bursary.

Students over 19 may be entitled to financial support from the Adult Learning Grant.
Higher Education

We can give advice on how to apply for student loans, grants and bursaries.

The Access to Learning Fund may be able to assist home students who after taking up all statutory support available to them are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact Student Services once you are studying here for an application form.
