MA Hospitality Management

I really enjoyed my course and made lots of new friends from different countries.

The course is very practical with a lot of discussions during the class where everyone can share they own experience in the hospitality industry. It's the best part of the course; through the discussions you get different ideas and thoughts.

Birmingham is a very convenient city and good place for shopping. I enjoyed the time I spent in Birmingham. The living costs here are not too high compared with London. Overall, it's a good place for students, especially for international students as a first place to stay in the UK. The location of UCB is very impressive for me, located in the centre of the city its only a10 minutes walk from The Malting. The Library offers a lot of books relevant to the hospitality and tourism industries, it provides a very good environment for student to do their works.

I would recommend that students who have studied a relevant course or had relevant working experience study the MA in Hospitality management. In this course, you can really learn not only theoretically but practically. Something I learned in the UK is you cannot always expect your tutor give you answer; you have to find it by yourself; that's the main reason why I studied a Masters course.

The course has made my mind up that I will stay in hospitality as my career. I find it is a very interesting job where you will face different people and challenges everyday; every day of your life is different, there's nothing better than that.
