Sports Therapy BSc (Hons)

One of the main outcomes of my university experience, and something I would highly recommend, were my placements with a semi-professional football club and Aston Villa Ladies FC. This allowed me to put the theory into practice. Both of the placements allowed me to develop my confidence and interpersonal skills and also led to a job opportunity.

Since graduating, my intention was always to stay within the world of sport. The confidence I gained through the three years at university allowed me to develop my own sports massage business in which I work with professional athletes from a variety of sports. Within the sphere of sports therapy, there are always new developments, therefore I felt becoming a graduate teaching assistant in sports therapy would enable me to continue my own development as well as help others.
