Youth, Community and Families BA (Hons)

I knew this was the right course for me because of the wide range of interesting modules. I was invited to attend an information session where the main course lecturers presented the background and content of the course – this made it easier for me to make the decision that this was the right course for me.

One of the highlights of the course was sharing the benefits with work colleagues. I was already on the course with another colleague, and we encouraged another member of the team to enrol which meant that the half of the team that I managed had benefitted from this great course.

I love working within the community – no two days are the same. The constant challenges can be exciting as well as motivating. Developing projects within the community can be rewarding, particularly when you are able to provide the services that the community have asked for within funding allowances. It’s a real achievement.
