Events Management BA (Hons)

If you are looking for a place where you can develop, think outside the box, gain industry insights and network with top leaders, UCB is the place to be.

Going to UCB has provided me with valuable skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this industry. During this time, I gained invaluable work experience – I volunteered for more than 200 hours for different events as part of the Professional Events Practice module. I also had the opportunity to do an internship in my final year in the fundraising department at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

What makes UCB outstanding is the way modules combine theory with practical work, and the extensive knowledge of the lecturers.

After finishing university, I worked for the London 2012 Olympic Games during the Opening Ceremony, which was another dream come true. Straight after this, I got an amazing job with a bespoke events management agency in Birmingham, planning and managing conferences, medical events and incentive travel.
