I chose UCB for its excellent reputation and world-class facilities as I believe in today’s ever-changing, fast-paced food industry it is important to keep up to date with industry standards.

After leaving catering college in London, I decided that I wanted to be something more than just a chef. The Food Development and Innovation BSc course offered me the opportunity to step up and enter the ever-growing industry of food manufacturing and product development.

Food Development and Innovation offers me a unique blend of both practical and theory at degree level, which allows me to enhance my existing practical skills, whilst building on my knowledge of the industry. I believe this will give me good graduate job opportunities when I leave UCB and enter the world of work.

I hope to gain employment in the new product development field once I have graduated and would like to work with a large company like Mars or Cranswick.
