Hospitality with Tourism Management MSc
I chose UCB because of their impressive student employability rates. They make sure that students are employment-ready at the end of their course.
The best part of my course course was my lecturers and being able to take part in an industrial placements. I completed a placement at Crowne Plaza NEC and from there became the Food and Beverage Supervisor, with duty manager responsibilities when required. I then worked for a year as the Restaurant and Bar Manager for the largest buffet restaurant in Worcestershire – Flames World Buffet.
During my course I also worked at the Hilton Garden Inn as a Guest Service Assistant, working primarily in the front office and food and beverage departments. One of my career highlights was when Hilton Garden Inn's room service achieved 100% guest satisfaction for the first time under my lead. I love this industry because every day is a new challenge.
