Part-Time Enrolment and Induction 2016/17

If you are an EU or UK part-time undergraduate student, you will receive a pre-enrolment email which we ask you to respond to before attending your enrolment session at the University. This will help us to fill in your enrolment form as much as possible to save you time. When you arrive at UCB, our Admissions department will provide you with an enrolment form to complete and verify your qualifications. 

New EU and UK postgraduate part-time students will receive an email giving details of their programme induction and enrolment times. Information may also be provided specific to your course, this appears below,

What do I need to bring to enrolment? 

  • Evidence of entry qualifications (if you are holding a Conditional offer)
  • Student Finance England Entitlement letter
  • Student Finance England customer reference number, password and secret answer
  • Proof of identity e.g passport or driver’s license 

You can find your enrolment and induction timetables within your welcome booklet below.

Upon enrolling, our Finance department will check your enrolment form and establish how you will pay your tuition fees. If you are a part-time student and have applied for financial support from Student Finance England, they will check the details of your assessment.

Finally, you will need your photograph taken for your student ID card. Congratulations – you are now a UCB student! 

The induction week for new UK students will begin week commencing Monday 12th September and your formal lectures will start Tuesday 20th September (please note the University will be closed on Monday 19th September due to our Graduation Ceremony).

Your programme induction week is designed to give you the best possible start to your studies by providing you with essential information about UCB support services, should you need support at any time. This is also an ideal opportunity to meet with your lecturers and fellow students.

New students will receive their timetables during induction week. Timetables for returning students will be available on the student portal. From the drop-down list on the ‘Students’ tab at the top of the page, ‘My timetable’ can be found under the ‘My info’ section.
