If you've missed the UCAS deadline, don't panic

Our next open day will taking place on Saturday 1 July, 11am - 3pm. It's a great opportunity to find out more information about the course you are interested in studying, as well as viewing our state-of the-art facilities.
Apply direct to UCB
UCB Direct is the new admissions service that UCB are implementing for the Admissions cycle. This exciting opportunity allows you to apply for an undergraduate degree at UCB free of charge and without having to complete a lengthy application form.
Are you eligible to use UCB Direct?
If you meet the entry requirements for your choice of undergraduate degree then you may be eligible to apply directly to University College Birmingham.
To apply directly to UCB you must satisfy the following:
- You must not have previously applied on UCAS this year (as we will complete this on your behalf)
- You must have your results and have met the entry criteria for your chosen course
- You must want to apply to UCB only
- You must complete the UCB Direct form so that the Admissions team can confirm if we can make you an Unconditional offer
- You must be a UK or EU applicant for residency purposes
If you have a query regarding an existing application then please contact our Admissions team:
UK Applicants: email@example.com or call us on 0121 604 1040
EU Applicants: EUadmissions@ucb.ac.uk or call us on 0121 604 1040
Apply through UCAS
Don’t worry if you have missed the UCAS deadline, we are still considering applications for all of our courses.
Below is a handy guide of what to do next:
Didn't use all five choices and didn't accept any offers
If you haven't used all five choices yet, you can still add more in Track if it's before 30 June and you've not accepted or declined any offers.
If you’re not holding any offers after this date you'll normally be entered into Clearing.
You might be able to add another choice if you've received decisions from all five universities or colleges and weren't accepted, or if you declined the offers you received.
Extra is a free service available for you to apply to one course at a time between 25 February and 4 July. If Extra is available to you, it'll show up as a button when you sign in to track your application.
Not applied or registered with UCAS
As we still have places available on all of our courses you can apply until 30 June.
If you make an application through UCAS after 30 June, your application is automatically entered into Clearing.
