Profile
I originally studied Professional Catering Craft Diploma at BCFTCS and progressed onto the Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management. I then went into Bars Management with Embassy Hotels. After six months I took on the additional role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. Two years later I was Restaurant and Bars Manager. During my time with Embassy I was part of the transition from Embassy Hotels to Jarvis Hotels to Ramada Jarvis Hotels. I did move over to Moat House Hotels as Restaurant and Bars Manager to experience a different venue. I then returned to Ramada Jarvis after one year with Moat House Hotels. I joined University College Birmingham in 2001. During my time at UCB I have taught on the level 3 Food and Beverage Service course; I then moved on to the Level 1 Certificate in Food and Beverage Service. I have also co-ordinated the First year Higher Education Module for practicals. In recent years I am the Programme Manager for the Level 1 Certificate in Food and Beverage Service and also the Assistant Programme Manager on the BTEC Extended Diploma in Hospitality with Events.

From 2011-2014 Executive Boxes Food and Beverage Service Manager for West Bromwich Albion Football Club.
Other activities
Part of the Culinary Competition Team and Part of the Leonardo Project for overseas placement.
