Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery 

One of my teachers recommended UCB to me because she knew I wanted to pursue a career in food, and that UCB had the best reputation for catering courses in terms of teaching and facilities. The skills and knowledge I gained on my Level 3 course were amazing. I had experiences I never could have imagined I would have before I started. My highlights have been going abroad – I went to Marseille to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant this year to experience what it is like to work surrounded by a completely different culture, language and approach to food. I also represented England at the Culinary Olympics in Germany, winning a silver and a bronze medal, which was an incredible experience. Now I’ve finished the course, I’m currently training to become a butcher.
