Chef Catering Level 2 & 3 Diploma (Professional Cookery)

Cooking was always my hobby and I did A-levels in science because I was going to do medicine. I did a gap year and did more cooking. Everyone said I should just be a chef so I came to UCB for an interview and liked it.

UCB is a great place to be a student. Everyone knows everyone. People get on with their studies and are really down to earth.

The Chef Catering course will appeal to people who like to work under pressure and take risks. It also appeals to anyone who wants to open their own business and people who are artistic. The visual presentation of the food is really important.

After I finish the course, I plan to do Culinary Arts Management (CAM). I think I have everything I need to run a kitchen but I want to know in more detail about how to run a business. CAM is far more advanced and I would love to go abroad for my placement. I would love to have a restaurant and a café. I already have an image of what it would be.
