Food and Beverage Service Level 3 Diploma

After completing my Level 3 Food and Beverage Service qualification with UCB, I wanted to continue on to Hospitality Business Management because I knew it would give me that higher level of technical knowledge you need to succeed in the industry. The social element was also important to me – lots of my friends carry on from college to university here and it’s great to have that continuation.

My degree has given me a different perspective on the hospitality industry: you look at it from the eyes of an experienced professional rather than a customer. I’m hoping to go on course placement at the 5-star Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland next year, and then when I graduate I’m confident I’ll have the experience to become a restaurant manager.
