Chocolate heaven at UCB

Chocoholics were spoilt for choice when chefs from Callebaut visited UCB to unveil their latest products.

The company, which has produced Belgium chocolate for more than 100 years, showcased a mouth-watering array of samples. 

Beverley Dunkley, head of Callebaut’s UK Academy, gave representatives from the catering industry an insight into the latest trends.

She said tarts, muffins and cookies would be taking centre-stage over the coming months – replacing the current craze for waffles, doughnuts and éclairs.

The event was organised by Dawn Gemmell, Assistant Dean of UCB’s College of Food.
