National Bakery Event Success for UCB
The Alliance for Bakery Students and Trainees Annual Conference and Bakery Competitions were held on Saturday 11th June 2022 at Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire.
UCB staff and students enjoyed 3 days at the resort watching live demonstrations, finding out about careers in the industry, meeting fellow bakers and confectioners and enjoying themed BBQ’s, awards dinners and the all important awards ceremony.
Student Baker, Rebecca Thompson, attending the event for the second year running said:
“It was a great weekend, lots of demonstrations, samples and people from industry as well as the fun social activities; I can’t wait until next year.”
