Students Success With the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists
University College Birmingham hairdressing students recently travelled to Bedworth Civic Hall to compete in the UK trainee regional semi-final competition of the renowned Association of Hairdressers and Therapists (AHT). The competition consisted of 8 categories.
Accompanying staff, Janet Dancer and Pia Dimmer, congratulated all the students who worked so hard both up to and during the day and faced such strong competition at the AHT competition. Special congratulations go to:

Basher Rezie (Level 3 Hairdressing) who was awarded 1st place in the gents commercial cut and blow-dry competition.

Paulina Ptasznik (Level 2 Hairdressing) who was awarded
2nd Place in the blow-drying competition.

Ruthann Whittingham and Sarah Mendoza (Level 3 Hairdressing)
who were awarded joint 1st place in the Afro-Carribean Mannequin competition.
These students will now go through to the finals at the 
Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 14th March.
