Alumni attend Children's Workforce Update

Entitled ‘A Children’s Workforce Update’  the evening held in The Brasserie Restaurant here at UCB featured renowned practitioner and speaker Eileen Swan, Regional Adviser for Communication, Language and Literacy Development with the Children’s Workforce Development Council who gave an entertaining and thought provoking talk on Communication, Language and Literacy Development for under-5’s.

Danielle Carey, Dean of the School of Childhood and Education then gave an update on the qualifications available at UCB which was followed by drinks and a delicious curry buffet and a chance for past students to network, catch up and talk to lecturers and current students about options available for further study and issues in the ever-changing sector.
