BusinessHub@UCB Launch New Course
UCB has launched a new Child Protection course aimed at professionals working in the Childcare and Early Years industry. This one day programme is to raise awareness of safeguarding and child protection processes, ideal for all those working with or coming in to regular contact with children as part of their job.
The course has been designed to cover definitions and signs and symptoms of abuse, how to respond appropriately if abuse is suspected, together with the legislation and policies related to safeguarding children.
Debbie Hocknull, course coordinator said “Recent incidents relating to safeguarding children highlights the need for continual training and updates for anyone working with children and young people. UCB has an excellent reputation in training for the children and young people’s workforce and this one day programme will meet the need for greater understanding of child protection and makes a vital contribution in creating awareness of safeguarding children”.
The course will run on Wednesday 9th March between 9.30am and 3.30pm and cost £75.00 per person.
