Could Laima be The Eventice ?

UCB student Laima Kasatkina, final year BA (Hons) Entertainment Management is in the is in the running to be the first 'Eventice'.

The National Competition run by ESP Recruitment, in association with Excel London, UBM Live, Brand Events, Imagination, Bluehat and Event Magazine, will see the finalists creating an event and take part in a selection of challenges at International Confex from 1st -3rd March.

Competition will be fierce for the prize, which is a job after graduation in Events with Excel London.

Laima, who is from Latvia, only found out about the competition a few days before the closing date, but submitted the required video and CV so is now in the running to make the final 15. Laima had to include answers to a series of  questions in her film as well as saying why she should be the first 'Eventice'.

Laima will find out at the end of January if she has got through to the final, the participating for her though has been the main thing and she commented on the experience:

“I applied to test my skills, expose myself to a real event environment and in the end make myself proud. Now is the best time to think about my future career and entering The Eventice has helped me do this.”
