Early Years Professionals celebrate their achievements
Candidates successfully gaining their Early Years Professional Status at University College Birmingham gathered recently at a presentation evening to celebrate their achievements.
Held in the College's Brasserie restaurant, the candidates enjoyed a buffet reception with family and friends and then were presented with their certificates by Deputy Principal, Paul Simpson.
Special guest, Thom Crabbe, National Development Manager – Early Years, Children's Workforce Development Council, gave a short talk on issues and developments in the early years industry and offered his congratulations to the candidates.
Caroline Prior, EYPS Programme Manager, said:
All of the candidates worked so hard this year and it is great to offer them the opportunity to celebrate together with family and friends. We very much appreciate the support of employers in encouraging employees to work towards gaining EYPS. The candidates I have spoken to have found the experience very rewarding. They often have to juggle daily demands with training which can be a challenge, but all showed great determination and enthusiasm hence their success.
