What's the Big Idea? Universities Week - 14th to the 20th June 2010Universities UK is launching a National campaign to highlight the essential roles of universities in the UK and engage with the public about the unheard success stories of students. This is the first time that the Higher Education achievements have been brought together under a single banner; Universities: What's the big idea? taking place from 14th - 20th June 2010.

Over 100 universities and organisations have signed up to run activities and events throughout the week to support the promotion of Higher Education.

University College Birmingham is excited to be part of this campaign and proud to be given the opportunity to showcase the successes of previous students. The week will comprise of a different theme each day and University College Birmingham will be highlighting some of the Big Ideas that have come out of university.

Linking to the theme on Thursday, University changed my life , a number of our students have discussed how University College Birmingham has had a transformational affect on their lives, showcasing how their professions would not exist without the influence and enthusiasm passed on to them from University College Birmingham.
