UCB take the Biscuits

UCB Bakers show us their biscuitsBakers at University College Birmingham provided a welcome lunchtime treat to the 80 performers who had given their time to BBC WM's Evening of Inspiration at the Birmingham Town Hall; raising money for the BBC WM Kidney Kids Appeal. The chocolate chip cookies were handed to over to WM's Jenny Wilkes and Patricia Hoskins.

The evening featured entertainment from Gospel choirs to Jazz and Opera singers amongst a host of Birmingham's talented Children's choirs, artists and musicians, photos of the evening can be found on the BBC website.

The WM Kidney Kids Appeal was launched in July 2008 and hopes to raise £1.5M for a new kidney unit at Birmingham Children's hospital, so far the appeal has raised over £900,000. For more information about the appeal and how you can help visit their BBC website.
