A night amongst the Stars

University College Birmingham recognised its Higher Education stars at a glittering prize giving ceremony. The awards held annually recognise not only the academic success of students during their programme of study but also their other interests and achievements.

Held at the Copthorne Hotel, prizes were given across all subject areas and many of them were sponsored by business and individuals with links to University College Birmingham.

In total 43 Higher Education students were honoured for achievements including gaining the best grades in their year, the best execution of a Themed Function, performance on Industrial Placement and the highest marks in a dissertation.

The awards ceremony was attended by staff, students, their families and friends and followed by a buffet amongst the stars.
