Success at UK Seafood Championships
Two First Year Culinary Arts Management students have reached the final of the UK Seafood Championships which will be held in Grimsby on June 19th. The annual competition is for full time catering students and this year’s theme was sustainability.
After being presented with a choice of fish, Nicholas Welsh and Audrey L'Utile, along with 100 other teams designed and costed a 3 course menu which they would be able to prepare and cook in 3 hours.
Having impressed the judges at that stage they next went to Norfolk for the regional heats and presented their finished dishes to a panel of judges. The final will feature eights teams competing for the title and we'll be reporting back once the results are out.
