UCB Welcomes Chinese delegation

University College Birmingham welcomed visitors from the Education Section of The Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China; who spent an afternoon looking at facilities and meeting students.

Mr Tian Xiaogang, Minister Counsellor, Mr Qi Pinwei, First Secretary and Mr Zhang Shaohua, also First Secretary were in Birmingham as part of a nationwide tour visiting educational establishments. Whilst at UCB they met Chinese students to find out about their learning experience in the College and Birmingham. Dr Sarah Chiu, International Students Admissions Manager said "the visit had strengthened relations between the embassy and University College Birmingham and that the visitors had been impressed with what they saw and heard."
