First in Food

Food and Consumer Management students celebrate their successFive delighted Food and Consumer Management students are celebrating having heard the news that they have been awarded First Class Degrees.

Amy Petch, Amanda Cadman, Marie Wiles, Holly Stokes and Emma Cope came to find out their results and cracked open the champagne as soon as they learnt of their outstanding achievements.

Jobs or further study are lined up now that the students have finished at UCB. Amy is going to work at leading cakes and desserts supplier, Elisabeth the Chef and Emma at Cadbury's, both in product development roles and Amanda and Holly have places on PGCE courses.

Mandy Lloyd, Food and Consumer Management lecturer says:

"To have five first degree results is fantastic and is a credit to the students hard work. Indeed, all of the group have great results and we are proud of their achievements and wish them well in their careers".
