Recruitment fair clocks up another success

University College Birmingham has just seen another successful Recruitment Fair. The annual event held at the College saw 18 Human Resources departments setting up shop for the day hoping to recruit the best students that the college has to offer.

With exhibitors including Selfridges & Co, Hilton Birmingham Metropole and Royal Bank of Scotland, Careers Advisor Ellen O'Brien said that the fair saw "a wider range of organisations than ever before, including recruiters from the world of finance, tourism and retail. The employers were very positive about students that they met and the students were very excited about the networking opportunities presented to them".

The careers centre combines careers and course advice for students both past and present and a job shop for current students looking for part time work or full time opportunities once they graduate.
