Students have their say on Birmingham's future
Local strategic partnership Be Birmingham has launched the consultation of Birmingham 2026: Our vision for the future. This vision will set out the strategic ambitions Be Birmingham believes our city will aspire to and achieve collectively over the next 20 years.
Over 70 University College Birmingham students have so far responded but Be Birmingham still needs you to tell it what those ambitions should be.
Be Birmingham, which brings together partners from the business, public, community, voluntary and faith sectors to deliver a better Birmingham, believes it is vital to open up a dialogue with the people to continue to improve the lives of all our citizens.
Consequently, the partnership is asking every citizen to complete a short survey to ensure that the city has correctly identified the most important priorities that Birmingham must address by 2026.
So, this is your chance to be part of setting the city’s agenda. Simply go online at www.bebirmingham.org.uk/2026 and select the priorities which are most important to you, your family & friends and Birmingham.
Alternatively, call the Be Birmingham 2026 hotline on 0121 675 6968 to receive your copy of the survey.
Please let them have your views before March 1st 2008. Once everyone's views have been collected and collated, the final vision will be launched in April 2008.
