College restaurant chosen as one of the best

Students Samantha Albutt and Ibrahim Bellal celebrate the guide at the BMW Rydale Central GarageThe College's fine dining restaurant, the Atrium, has been hailed as the best place in the UK to meet a future star chef in a new food guide from BMW.

The guide highlights 101 Great British Food Adventures and the College is the only location featured from Birmingham. Other locations around the country range from the most stunning deli, the best place to find a rock 'n roll breakfast and the most remote restaurant to visit.

The write-up talks of the College's culinary graduates who now work in top restaurants around the world and describes the Atrium as the best kept culinary secret in the Midlands.

Bill Farnsworth, Director of Catering and Bakery Studies at the College said, "We are all absolutely delighted that the Atrium has been selected to feature in this unusual and fun national guide. It is a credit to the students that their hard work has been recognised in this way and we thank all our customers for their support in helping to make the restaurant as successful as it is".
